Santo VFD is funded almost entirely through donations
| The annual operating revenues for the fire department come from donations, fundraisers and some insurance reimbursements, but the bulk of revenue comes from people like you who support the mission of the local fire department through donations. |

All this cool stuff is expensive!
| Fire and rescue equipment is very expensive to purchase and maintain. Since 9/11, this country's focus on
homeland security has put firefighting and emergency services in more demand than ever before and small volunteer departments are now asked to provide services in ways they had not in the past. All of this requires up to date apparatus and state of the art communications equipment, often exceeding the resources of the local community. |

It shows support for the department
| When you donate your money and other resources, it shows that you care about the mission of the Santo VFD. This is your community department and these friends and neighbors rely on donations to make their mission successful. |
